Effective date: July 12, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

2. Professional field tool only

Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit is a helper tool for calculations, records, scanning, reports, project organization, cloud backup, sync, and team workflows. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, training, licensed work, manufacturer documentation, NFPA, NEC, local code, authority having jurisdiction requirements, engineering review, or required inspections.

You are responsible for verifying all calculations, addresses, device records, reports, exports, service results, and job-site decisions before relying on them.

3. Accounts, workspaces, and access

You are responsible for your account, devices, passwords, access codes, invite links, workspace members, and all activity under your account or workspace. Only invite authorized users to Team Workspace or Company Workspace areas. You are responsible for removing users who should no longer have access.

4. Acceptable use and abuse

You agree not to:

  • use the app or website for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes;
  • upload, enter, share, or export information you do not have rights to use;
  • attempt to access another user's account, workspace, project, or data;
  • interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, attack, or disrupt the service;
  • use the service to transmit malware, spam, credential theft, or harmful content;
  • misrepresent reports, records, service results, or compliance status;
  • remove notices, bypass limits, or misuse subscriptions, trials, or app store systems.

We may suspend, restrict, remove, preserve, or terminate access, accounts, workspaces, content, or features if we believe these Terms are violated or if action is needed to protect users, the service, or the public.

5. Your data and backups

You retain responsibility for the project, device, extinguisher, building, customer, report, note, workspace, and other information you enter or sync through the app. You should maintain independent backups of any important data and verify reports before sharing or submitting them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit is not liable for lost, corrupted, deleted, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or unrecoverable data, reports, sync records, exports, backups, or workspace information.

6. Plans, subscriptions, and payments

Some features may require a paid plan, subscription, in-app purchase, or app store entitlement. Prices, features, storage amounts, member limits, and availability may change over time. Apple, Google, or another payment provider may handle billing, cancellations, renewals, refunds, taxes, and payment disputes under their own terms.

7. Reports, exports, and shared links

Reports, CSV files, PDFs, project links, QR transfers, and shared data are generated from information available in the app. You are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy, completeness, formatting, code compliance, and customer requirements before using, filing, or sending them.

8. Third-party services

The app and website may rely on app stores, cloud providers, analytics, crash reporting, email, operating systems, device hardware, scanners, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, changes, terms, policies, fees, or actions.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, change, limit, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of the app, website, plans, pricing, storage, reports, sync, workspace features, or support at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always-available service.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or reliability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit and its owners, developers, affiliates, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages; loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, customers, opportunities, data, reports, or records; field delays; inspection issues; code compliance issues; or claims arising from reliance on app output.

12. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit and its owners, developers, affiliates, service providers, and partners from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the app or website, your data, your reports, your workspace activity, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another person's rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, abused the service, failed to pay required fees, or used the app in a way that may expose us or others to liability.
