2. Information you provide
Depending on how you use the app and website, you may provide project names, building or site information, floor names, device records, extinguisher records, notes, photos or scanned codes if supported, reports, workspace names, member information, billing-related plan choices, and support messages.
You are responsible for making sure you have permission to enter, upload, sync, share, export, or store job-site, customer, company, or third-party information in the app.
3. App, device, and usage information
We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, diagnostics, feature usage, general performance data, and approximate region. This helps us maintain the app, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and understand which features are useful.
4. Local records, cloud backup, and sync
Some Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit workflows are designed for local, field-friendly use. If you enable cloud backup, device sync, live team sync, shared projects, or workspace features, the data needed for those features may be transmitted to and stored by our service providers so it can sync across devices and members.
You should keep your own backups of important project, inspection, service, report, and customer data. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit is not responsible for lost, corrupted, deleted, delayed, unavailable, or unrecoverable data.
5. Payments and app stores
Purchases, subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing may be handled by Apple, Google, or another app store or payment provider. We do not receive your full payment card details from those providers. Their privacy policies and terms may also apply.
6. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the app and website;
- operate cloud backup, sync, reports, and workspace features;
- respond to support requests and service messages;
- detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, misuse, or security issues;

8. Team workspaces and shared projects
If you join or create a Team Workspace or Company Workspace, workspace owners, admins, and authorized members may be able to view, edit, export, sync, or delete workspace data depending on their permissions. Do not add people to a workspace unless they are authorized to access the related project and company information.
9. Abuse, misuse, and security
We may suspend, restrict, remove, or preserve accounts, workspaces, projects, content, or access when we believe the app is being abused, used unlawfully, used to harm others, used to interfere with the service, or used in a way that threatens security, availability, or integrity.
10. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, operate active accounts and workspaces, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. Backup copies and logs may remain for a limited period after deletion.
11. Your choices
You can limit the information you enter into the app, choose whether to use cloud or workspace features where available, export or delete certain records through the app where supported, and contact us about privacy requests at info@firealarmtechtools.com.
12. Children
Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit is intended for professional field use and is not directed to children. Do not use the app if you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement or use professional software in your location.
